Dogs, descendants of the wolf.

What do dogs really need?

Dogs, descendants of wolves, are facultative omnivores . This means they can digest a variety of foods, although their ideal diet is primarily based on:

  • Quality animal protein, such as poultry, beef, lamb, or fish.
  • Functional and carefully selected vegetables, such as carrots, pumpkin, potatoes, green beans, kohlrabi, tomatoes, apples, and berries. They provide fiber, vitamins, antioxidants, and improve digestibility. Always in appropriate proportions and designed to complement—not replace—animal protein.
  • Legumes in moderate amounts, such as peas or green beans, which provide vegetable protein, fiber, and low-glycemic carbohydrates.
  • Functional natural extracts, such as brewer's yeast (rich in B vitamins), yucca extract (improves digestibility and reduces stool odor), apple fiber, aloe vera, dill, rosemary, milk thistle, among others.

Although some dogs tolerate small amounts of whole grains like brown rice, at Malamute Pet Care we have opted exclusively for grain-free formulas , which are more consistent with their physiology and have a lower glycemic index.

We never work with formulas that include ingredients not recommended for dogs, or with by-products, fillers, or artificial preservatives.

Cats, strict carnivores .

What do cats really need?

Cats are strict carnivores . They originate from the African wildcat ( Felis lybica ) , a solitary hunter whose organisms evolved to feed exclusively on animal prey. Unlike dogs, they have not developed the ability to efficiently digest certain plants or grains. Their bodies are designed to use nutrients from animal sources , and they are not equipped to properly metabolize some plant ingredients .

The ideal in your diet is:

  • High meat or fish content.
  • Animal fats as the main source of energy.
  • Essential nutrients found only in animal foods , such as taurine, preformed vitamin A, or omega fatty acids.

Why do we offer feed if it is not 100% meat?

After analyzing dozens of brands, we found that the few foods that meet all of a cat's real nutritional requirements are very expensive and in short supply . Therefore, we have selected a recipe that, while not exclusively meat-based, is well above the market average .

The feed we offer contains a minimum of 62% variety of meats and oily fish , including:

Fresh Chicken, Tuna, Duck, Salmon and Turkey .

It also includes brown rice (22%) as a source of low-glycemic carbohydrates, and, in small amounts, peas, apple, and carrot . We know these ingredients aren't essential , but in a balanced formula with a high animal content, their inclusion doesn't compromise your cat's health .

It's an honest, conscious choice, far superior to many others that present themselves as "premium" without offering a proper nutritional foundation.

The snacks and wet food we offer fully respect the biological needs of cats and meet our quality and standards.

It's not about selling for the sake of selling. It's about health.

What made us trust them goes far beyond their labels:

  • Its fish comes directly from the Bay of Huelva , guaranteeing national origin, freshness and traceability.
  • Although the brand offers several lines, we have exclusively selected its grain-free formulas , as they are the ones that best align with our nutritional philosophy.
  • They work with natural ingredients and formulations tailored to the true needs of dogs and cats.
  • They are a close, committed brand that does not mass produce , but rather with care and consistency.

We chose to work with Delmocán because they share our vision: to feed with purpose, with respect, with truth.

  • Your health begins with what you eat.

At Malamute Pet Care, we believe that feeding our companions is an act of love, responsibility, and respect.

We are a clear, transparent, and demanding brand: we don't seek to offer hundreds of options or sell for the sake of selling.

We select only the best , because our animals give us everything without asking for anything in return: affection, loyalty, and unconditional companionship.

  • Our ethical commitment.

We believe in a more responsible, informed and coherent consumption model.

We don't work with brands that prioritize profit at the expense of animal health.

    In addition, we commit to:

    • Select products with traceable and responsibly sourced ingredients.
    • Work with brands that respect the environment , animal welfare , and transparency.
    • Always inform you honestly. No empty marketing. No fine print.
  • Why do we choose only the essentials?

Just as humans have a Mediterranean diet, balanced and rich in natural ingredients, animals also have specific nutritional needs , specific to their species.

It's not a question of trends, brands or margins.

    It's a matter of health.

In this category you will find only foods that respect the nature of each animal , made with real ingredients, without unnecessary additives, without filler cereals and without empty promises .
