Our "Everything for Fiber" is a rich source of soluble fiber. The husk powder swells and multiplies its original volume when moistened. So-called mucilaginous polysaccharides are found in the seed husk and are responsible for the pronounced bulking behavior and high water binding capacity.
These mucilages naturally increase the volume of ingested food and are therefore suitable as a satiety supplement for dogs or cats that are not easily satisfied. Another positive effect is the increase in stool volume, which can provide nutritional support for recurrent anal gland issues.
Since Psyllium Husk forms a gel and coats the stomach and intestines, it can affect the absorption of medications. Please administer medications before giving Psyllium.
Always mix with water in a 1:10 ratio before administering!

One level measuring spoon holds approximately 3.3 grams of product.
Daily amount:
- Cats and very small dogs (5 kilos): 0.5 grams (the tip of a knife)
- Small dogs (10 kilos): 1 gram (1/3 measuring spoon)
- Medium dogs (25 kilos): 1 - 2.5 grams (1/3 - 3/4 measuring spoon)
- Large dogs (50 kilos): 2 - 5 grams (3/4 - 1.5 measuring spoons)
Always mix with water before administering and allow it to swell for at least 15-20 minutes. The mixing ratio is 1:10 (Psyllium Husk:Water).
