Description

Raw bones are an essential element in homemade natural food, especially for their calcium content. However, not all dogs and cats can or want to eat them. Our Bone Essence (MCH Calcium) provides a preparation that is not only easy-to-absorb calcium in adequate amounts, but also other nutrients such as protein, collagen, Glycosaminoglycan, and trace elements.

Compared to other calcium supplements, our Bone Essence stands out for the following reasons:

  • It is obtained from selected premium pasture-fed beef bones from New Zealand. New Zealand is free of Bovine Spongiform Encephalopathy (BSE - mad cow disease) and other encephalopathies.
  • Its mineral and trace element content is natural, as it is 100% based on the main ingredient: bones.
  • MCH Calcium is regularly tested to avoid the presence of heavy metals such as lead.
  • Its microcrystalline structure provides maximum availability for absorption by the body.

Ingredients

Composition: MCH Calcium (Microcrystalline Hydroxyapatite) (100%). One teaspoon (2.5g) of MCH Calcium contains 575mg of calcium and 225mg of phosphorus (2.6:1 ratio).

Nutritional additives: Zero synthetic additives, 100% natural true

Analytical constituents: Protein 22%, crude oils and fats 5%, moisture <10%. Calcium 23%, phosphorus 9%

Conservation

Store in a cool (10-20ºC), dark, and dry place.

Feeding guide

A level measuring spoon contains approximately 6 grams of product.

  • Very small cats and dogs (5 kg body weight): approx. 1.6 grams per day (a quarter of a measuring spoon).
  • Small dogs (10 kg body weight): approx. 3.1 grams per day (half a measuring spoon).
  • Medium dogs (25 kg body weight): approx. 5.2 grams per day (three-quarters - 1 measuring spoon).
  • Large dogs (50 kg body weight): approx. 10.4 grams per day (1.5 - 2 measuring spoons).
