Elixir of the Sea

Supplementing with our Sea Elixir, a high-quality fish oil, is recommended for any diet, whether dry food, cooked food, or raw natural diet. It provides essential Omega-3 fatty acids for your dog or cat, including EPA and DHA, and helps balance the Omega-3 / Omega-6 ratio.

Omega-3s have countless benefits, including:

• They help with inflammation processes, as well as their prevention
• They can help in cases of pathologies related to the heart, skin (dermatitis), or kidneys (e.g., kidney failure)
• They are anti-inflammatory and help joints (e.g., arthritis)
• They are very important for the proper development of puppies

By containing natural vitamin E, on the one hand, the oil's resistance to atmospheric oxygen is improved, and on the other hand, it compensates for the body's extra need for vitamin E for the absorption of fatty acids.

Composition: Fish oil (sardines, anchovies, herring and mackerel) (99%), natural vitamin E (1%). The oils used for the blend, as well as the high-quality processes, comply with all European standards and come from honest sources. The oils are tested to avoid the presence of heavy metals or pesticides.

Nutritional additives per gram: Vitamin E 10mg (natural origin)

Analytical constituents: Crude oils and fats 100% (Omega 3 min 34.6%, EPA min 17.8%, DHA min 11.8%. Omega 3, Omega 6, Omega 9 ratio 14:1:3). 900 kcal / 100g.

Polyunsaturated fatty acids are sensitive to light and oxygen. High temperatures also accelerate degradation, so it is important to store the oil in a cool (10-25ºC) and dark place and close the bottle tightly after each use. After opening, consume preferably within 6-8 weeks.

As a starting point, we will begin with 1 to 2 dessert spoons daily per 10 kg of body weight. Always mix the oil with food.

The need for polyunsaturated fatty acids depends on size, age, activity, and the fat content of other foods. It is important to observe the condition of your dog and cat and adjust the amount given; if the coat is dull, scaly, or tends to show lumps, we can increase the dose.
