Spirulina Platensis is a type of Cyanobacteria (formerly known as Blue-Green Algae). Unlike sea algae, Spirulina, as a freshwater cyanobacterium, contains very little iodine. Its cells have no nucleus, and its cell wall is so thin that its vitamins, minerals, and nutrients are easily absorbed by the intestine.

The dry powder contains up to 60% high-value and easily digestible protein. Spirulina contains various mineral compounds such as phosphorus, iron, magnesium, manganese, and zinc compounds, as well as over 50 vital substances (vitamins, minerals, and trace elements) and 18 essential and non-essential amino acids. It has an intense dark green color due to its chlorophyll content.

Spirulina is rich in antioxidants, and one of its pigments, phycocyanin, has been shown in scientific studies to prevent the growth of cancer cells. The chlorophyll in spirulina contains enzymes that are important for tissue regeneration and digestion.

This product comes from organic farming.

Analytical constituents: Protein 65.3%, inorganic matter <8%, crude oils and fats <1%, moisture <7%

Store in a cool (10-25ºC) and dry place.

One level scoop holds approximately 3 grams of product.

Daily amount:

• Very small cats and dogs (5 kg): 1 gram (1/3 scoop)
• Small dogs (10 kg): 2 grams (2/3 scoop)
• Medium dogs (25 kg): 3 grams (1 scoop)
• Large dogs (50 kg): 6 - 12 grams (2 - 4 scoops)
